Can’t say I’m a fan of the way his pelvis is working, not how Nicklaus did it. The Ping G10 is a visually appealing driver and I certainly found it had the performance to match.

It is the sort of driver that makes you exude confidence when it is sits behind the ball. Once I played more regular and got a better swing it was clear to see that I was losing distance but gaining height from the tee.

I have the Burner driver so perhaps the overall appearance, shaft, and head weighting feels more familiar. I did own a set of Calloway big Bertha irons 04, graphite shafts and they were the sweetest and best irons I have ever played with. And not just someone who can switch the shafts, but someone who can re-swingweight them and put you in the best weight and bend profile shaft. The Ping G10 gets positive reviews but not the hti rating, and in the accuracy test the landing area graphic shows the G10 almost double the scatter deviation of the other clubs tested.

They are good from every lie, including divots, Ping have excellent customer service and the fact you can get the wedges fitted too makes a massive difference. Now, was playing today, in the rough to the right of the 18th fairway, yards to the pin, didn’t get underneath at all, hit the ball with the heel and still ended up 8 inches from the pin.
